My mom who is in her 6th week of chemo for breast cancer, is coming to visit tomorrow! So glad she's tolerating the treatments so well. She loves my cards and I'm trying to make some that she can display while she's in the midst of this battle!
Today's color combo was PERFECT for this card. I started with a Vanilla piece and stamped the bg words in Crumb Cake. I stamped the leaves and splatter marks from French Foliage in Soft Suede and added some Crumb Cake splatter as well. I used Versamark to stamp the butterfly (got my challenge dessert today) and Hope then embossed with Melon Mambo ep. I tied a quadruple fork bow in Crumb Cake seam binding that I added around the bottom and I was done. Can't wait to give it to my mom tomorrow! (well, technically later today)

Give Mom and hug from me. I'm a survivor too! I love the embossing on your card.

Gail, what a lovely card for your Mom. My thoughts are with you both. Hope this will all be behind her soon. She will be touched by your card and its symbol of hope and freedom.
