As soon as I read Stripes for the challenge this morning I knew I wanted to do something with this ticking stamp.
5 3/4" base, edges sponged with Antique Linen. A white square the same size, sponged with Antique Linen, edges distressed and sponged with Fired Brick.
I used the RubberNecker Striped Background - Faded Jeans on some Basic Grey off-white paper. I cut it into 1 3/4" squares and stitched them all with blue thread, then distressed the edges and stuck them to the base.
Hero Arts sentiment stamped with black on some Fired Brick ticking; I cut it with oval Nestabilities, distressed the edges and sponged with red, adding dark blue snaps before layering onto a blue oval and popping up on foam.
For extra stripes I stamped and cut out 3 red candles, and added Liquid Pearl flames (Cantaloupe).

I actually thought about making my own dp with stripes in a SU set that I have, but since I have Christmas striped dp and had a Christmas card in mind to make, I forfeited the home made look. Yours looks pretty snazzy! I like that you used the stamp for the sentiment also! Very nice.....

Sabrina, as a former quilter, I am so lovin' this! Your paper is so sweet, and the layout is gorgeous!
