By now you know about Jess and what she has been going through. Jess has followed in her mother and my footsteps concerning horses. Sis and I each had a horse growing up and it was such a awesome way to spend free time. I pray my little niece heals quickly and gets back in the saddle in due time. She is a fighter and never sees an obstacle she cannot overcome. Please keep her in your prayers....patience is not one of her virtues!!! She is going to love the cards she is getting and I will be back to comment more after my grandson's birthday party tonight. He is now 16 and on the streets driving!!!! I am sending a heartfelt thank you to all of the awesome card makers in this teapot group sending their beautiful cards to Jess.
I wish I could have colored her horse better....gave up trying. I must be getting old....worrying about such a silly detail. I need some lessons from you really great card makers!!!
hugs to all!!!!! wish I could hug you all in person..

Connie Jo, this is a wonderful card for Jess. The scene is so endearing and will fill her with fond memories. I like the EF you used it the bg with that "distressed looking DP. The heart punched border is so appropriate.
Jess is certainly in my thoughts & prayers. She has the loving support of her family which will help sustain her while she is recovering. Hugs to you !

ConnieJo there is nothing wrong w/ your horse; I think this is just the sweetest card. I love the way you did the vine, the hidden apple behine young Jess's back and that little mouse nibbling on the left overs. This is just perfect.
