I made this card for our 7 y.o. son's teacher to let her know we appreciate her. The children have an incubator in their room and they have been watching the chicks hatch - so far there are four little chicks. Now a teacher that is willing to do that is definitely Something to Crow About! You have to understand we are city folks so this is a big deal : )

Very cute! I love the raffia and the crocheted flower. My son's 3rd grade class and the other six 3rd grade classes at his school all have eggs they are waiting to hatch. Pretty exciting for them all!

This is a perfect card for your son's teacher! Love this week's color combo with the rooster image. Great water coloring and the corrugated panel is perfect!

Fab card Marlene! Love the country feel and the textures from the corrugated card and "straw". We often have our neighbour's hens in our garden but I can imagine that for city kids it's a real novelty and a thrill to see the eggs hatching out - what a great teacher to do that for them!
