I was thrilled when Betty asked me to be a guest designer for the Color Challenge during May. She gave us some lovely colors to work with today:
Cherry Cobbler
Crumb Cake
Basic Black
Ivory/white are only neutrals
The dessert was to add sparkle and shine.
This was a great opportunity to try out some new supplies....stamps, EP. backgrounder. The grasses are a backgrounder stamp that I think will be very versatile(I saw grasses for this card). The Judikins EP has a pinkish iridescent quality...which for once, seemed to photograph quite well!

Wow, you are so talented with colors, Sallie. I could stare at this all night. Love that sparkling background and the gorgeous butterflies. Love it all.

Gorgeous card, Sallie! Those butterflies are marvelous and that background is plain enough not to take away from the butterflies, but sparkly enough to grab your eye.
