These tulips are heading off to Winnipeg, which is where my SIL is from, though she lives in Toronto now. When I saw the challenge I thought I had no stamps - then I saw Lorraine's sweet card and remembered I had that one - and then I remembered these. I always find them hard to use on a card; cut out and in a vase they are much prettier . I'd have liked to use a photo as I have NO shortage of tulip photos, but after cheating with the guitar last week I thought I'd be properly paper-crafty today.
Simple card as it's been a busy day; 5 3/4" white base. I drew a silver line /4" in from all the edges and added silver Stickles along it without being too fussy.
Lacy Square is cute from MME Bloom and Grow, and also has silver Stickles added freely along the lace edge. Vase is punched from some printed origami paper. Tulips and butterfly were coloured with markers, stamped and cut out, then layered up a bit with foam.
I'm afraid every last brownie got eaten up over the weekend so there are none to bring along to the tea-party, but you're all welcome to a slice of the chocolate refrigerator cake that I am going to make tomorrow .

Oh Sabrina, this is LOVELY! Your paper pieced and cut out parts all put together make for one gorgeous card. I love this. Now, about the "cheating" part you mentioned in your write up. Is anything really considered cheating at a Teapot Tuesday Party? hehe I think not. That's why we have a "back-door".....again hehe. Don't worry about all your brownies being gone, I am headed to the kitchen to make a earthquake cake. I'll bring it along to the party real soon! Love your card! TFS :0)

Ha ha! You are a cheater without being a cheater! Giggle! OMG! Can you ever forgive me Sabrina...for forgetting to put the sneak peak in for like 4 weeks in a row or something! Darn it! I really must make a better effort...you have heard that before huh!
This card is awesome....I thought of you when I wrote this challenge, thought about how many wonderful pictures you and Lorraine might have, the two awesome teapotter photographers! I love this though and if you feel better not being a cheater today, then that makes me happy as well! Your cards are always great for the destination and the challenge! Love the sparkley frame!

This is lovely. Wonderful Asian feel to it with that pretty design paper for the bg, vase, and butterfly. I wouln't have thought of putting those colors together, but they look fabulous. The silver Stickles add the perfect finishing touch.
