I've had some really frustrating technical problems all week which are still being hammered out. So this is the first card I've been able to upload. At least there's no law against smacking the computer around cause it's a micron away from learning to fly thru a 2nd story window.
Anyway, this is my combo for today's Free For All (I think that's an interesting edge along the top, don't you? Please say yes. I can't take any more stress, lol). And also for Tuesday's color challenge.
I started out trying to follow Beate's fabulous Double Embossing Tutorial, but somewhere I veered off a bit and ended up w/ more of a little window w/ a double frame. So the 3 crosses image was stamped twice, colored w/ markers and the crosses were cut out and attached on top of the base image. I added a little white acrylic paint to the clouds for texture. I stamped around it w/ the Eternity label then die cut it using the matching die. I used two sizes of the same die set to create the frame.
The bg was embossed and the smaller die was used to cut the window for the image. I used the CB die to cut the scroll work at the top and a QK oval to cut the sentiment. The finished card measures 5 inches square.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
