One of my dear friends and customer, Carol, sent me a photo of a card made with a lattice die pop up mechanism by Connie Tumm. Connie's card is beautiful and SO clever ~ so I decided to have a go with the cute little owl punch.
This is the inside of the card, I kep the outside VERY plain as all the work is inside!!! More details and pics here on my blog.
Thanks to Connie for a wonderful idea, and thanks to DawnMarie for suggesting it to me when I was too tired to come up with anything

So smart, to use the lattice as a functional piece on this moving card. Love how you pieced that sweet owl ---- love the natural look and colors. The lattice folder even looks like tree branches. Great card.
