This is one of the hardest sympathy cards I've made. I could not even wrap myself around this & had to visit my gallery for ideas. This goes to a teacher, coach, friend and his wife at the loss of their only child. She was just 20 & fought so hard to live after being born 4 1/2 mo premature. She was killed in a car accident. I hope this brings her parents a small measure of comfort.
There is vellum over white. I see my vellum tape now shows. Does that happen b/c it's old???? The tree is stamped on white, the senti on the vellum. I embossed the vellum w/ a cuttlebug edge ef.
Thanks for stopping by.

This is a lovely card for such a tragic situation. How painful. I am sure your loving concern will bring some small comfort.
I am looking for ideas - we just heard that a friend and fishing buddy of DH has passed away - too far away and not enough time to attend the funeral, so we need a thoughtful greeting. This one of yours with the vellum and embossing is beautiful.

Karen, it is so hard to make cards when it is so personal.....I think you did a wonderful job on this one and your friends will feel the love that comes with it! I am so sorry you needed to make one!
