Those Kite brothers thought they had a plan to get respect...but when they got to the "training school for Air Traffic Controllers" something was amiss....a total miss that is....Brooke the crook took these 2 chumps for a ride....why do they need respect? go here for the complete story:
This card started out totally different but I tried 3 ways to get my hot air balloons to look masculine and it wasn't happening. Driving home from doing errands, I had an upclose encounter with one of these gorgeous birds. It swooped down and was flying right beside the truck as I started across the river....OMGosh.....do you know how big these things are up close??? and how loud?? They are HUGE!!! scared the jeepers outta me but how cool....luckily the traffic on other side of bridge noticed and stopped cuz he couldn't get away until off bridge because of the bridge framework. Then he just calmly flew off leaving me with my mouth hanging open....
So this scenery isn't anything you will ever see in Ks. but it seemed fitting for this regal bird. bird is colored with prismas rest is stamped and sponged.
If anyone knows the name of the old-'92 set that includes these mountains, please let me know. I was gifted it but no name.
TFL.....this is out in the mail to Sean....

Is it Sensational Scenery? I loved that set and used it so much way back when. I am glad you brought yours out to make those fantastic mountains for your eagle! What a great card for Sean. Thank you for making one that is sure to cheer him!

Awesome encounter w/ our great nation's symbol! We have a nest close by and what fun watching it in the spring. I hope the pair come back this year.
Your card is amazing. Awesome stamp and I love the purple mountains majesty! Sean will love this one.

Wonderful card and majestic scenery for a grand bird. What a way to get an inspiration for a card and what an exciting experience that you'll never forget. Nature can be pretty awe inspiring.

Oh my, I enjoyed your story. I've never seen any big birds up close apart from the zoo. Great card, too. KWYM about some balloons being a bit hard to get a good masculine look with.
