I really wasn't into Barbie while growing up. I was more of a Tomboy. BUT then I saw Mexico Barbie and thought, hmmmm I could do something with this.......and so I did.....my card....
Can't believe all the white I left on this card. It went together really quick, at least quick for me. Still took about an hour! hehe I'm slow some times....again hehe
Since I had the CDS just nutty set on my table I went with the squirrel. Stamped the peanuts, branch and squirrel and clear ep. Colored w/re-inkers.
The sombrero was drawn and colored with copics. The dots are from acrylic paints and a stylus.
Stamped, clear ep the sentiment and cut out w/word punch. Sponged and doodled the edges. Popped it up.
Sponged the card edges with tea dye cuz the white was getting to me. Plus I put a few doodles.
Well, I should be doing billing, needs to be out by Monday or I won't be getting any checks in the mail so I can buy more stamps!!! hehe .....have a great weekend....TFL :0)

Totally cute! So many of us were deprived of Barbies when young, I never had any either, but it sure doesn't crimp our card making style!!! This is perfect!

I just had to see a Mutnik card inspired by a Barbie. Yours is probably the only one out there today without glitter and pouf. Good for you, made me laugh. Love your style and those cool doodles.

YOU are amazing, girl! Truth be told, I hated Barbie too. I was the biggest tomboy, never played with dolls. I am nuts for the sombrero! And the white space, though not your usual style, looks very nice.

Cathy, this is such a darling CAS card. The image is so fun. I was not a Barbie girl either. I went from loving to play with Tiny Tears baby doll as a very little girl to being a total tomboy. I could a softball farther than any boy in my class in gradeschool.
