Congratulations Bev J, aka Maxell, our newly appointed Queen! After strolling through your gallery, I decided to CASE Negative Script, your CASE of Silke's card. In keeping with the holiday spirit, I changed your flower into a cardinal, but kept your layout and (most of) your colors. I brayered the embossing folder with old olive, then sponged the edges. The cardinal was die cut, then stamped with chocolate chip ink. His beak was colored with gold Smooch, a dot of Glossy Accents was applied to the eye and his feet were colored with a PrismaColor pencil.
Wear that crown proudly and enjoy your reign, Bev. You are an inspiration to all of us.

Wow, Hilda, this card is Classy with a capital "C" !!! Is there a tutorial on this negative embossing - I am not having much luck with it!! Your card , however, is rocking this technique and that proud cardinal graces this card front regally!!! That Red sating ribbon could not have been better placed!! Awesome card!

Beautiful, beautiful. Your cardinal is a delight and I can hardly wait to dig out that embossing folder when I get home and see if I can come up with something even half as purdy as this! Great card!
