I was really inspired by the second of Steph's thumbs and a rug that I found on the site, but when I found this Iris Pillow, I knew that was it. Especially as it reminded me so much of this needlepoint iris picture I did some time back.
A2 purple base, then a yellow layer. For the image layer I stamped the Serendipity Stamps image on more purple with Versamark and embossed with white EP, then added colour with gouache and acrylic paints, and a touch of Stickles on the fuzzy yellow bits. Before the Stickles and after the paint was dry I stamped Canvas over it with Milled Lavender, and then wiped it off the image. Some ribbon threaded through with the slot punch, and a sentiment made with Word Window punch and the small oval one finished it off. It's not my day today, some of my baking went wrong and several things went wrong in the making of this card - but I still think it's OK-ish.

This is a gorgeous card. Your coloring on the irises is simply beautiful. I love all the extra added touches with the canvas BG stamp and the stitching.
