What an amazing artist, Stef and interesting medium, too. I love going through Miyuki Sakai's gallery...and loved so many...the eggplants, the bridge, but when I saw this portrait under the PEOPLE category the woman with the upswept hair. I knew I would use this great image of women from B Lines Design called the Fountain of Women. So here's my artistic interpretation of our inspiration challenge.
It's all about blue today and also for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger challenge. I am falling in love with these blue hues!
Thanks so much for having a look. If you are interested there are more musings over at one4joydaily

Love your card because it's different. The paper-pieced clothes are really cool. When I went to Ms. Sakai's website, I could not scroll down to see a PEOPLE category. Bummer! I wanted to see your inspiration pic. (I've heard other people are having the same problem)

That garter strap as an element on this card was pure genius! What a cool and thought provoking image, how they all look the same but the differences are there underneath. Each woman is so unique. Love this card, Susan!

Susan, your artistic interpretation of the inspiration is amazing. I look at things, you look at things and our minds go off in totally different directions! That's is what makes this place so great. Stampers like you who really inspire us. This is wonderful, Susan!

That garter just put me over the edge, Susan!! I remember wearing the darn things to hold up my stockings, and sometimes they would snap and pinch my leg!! Made me chuckle!! Fab card!!

AMAZING! BEATIFUL! WOW! Susan this is an amazing creation. I can't see your inspiration on my computer (for some reason only part of the site is available to me), but you've done outstanding work here. I love the vintage garter - wherever did you get that? and I love the bit of ribbon coverage.
I'll give you this one:
