It's like a scavenger hunt around looking for the right stamps to make a card - YIKES!! I never have the right one - but I go down the hallway to the retirement center and I never know who will answer the call. So, ....
Out of retirement comes the "Fixers" - one sleek and curious and one practical. Sam and Snoopy team up to help Deke become a Geek so he can impress Miss Minnie with his skills and his cool car - now I can do cars - anytime we want to do a Teapot Tuesday with cars - I'm ready.
The tutor knows the recruiter, and they both agree that Deke is da man for the Geek Squad, but first he must pass the test. I don't have a clue what the test involves.
So Sam says the computer has died and Snoopy says he has a fix - use a typewriter. Minnie is impressed with Sam's deduction of the broken computer, and with Snoopy's alternative, however, she still has her eyes on Deke.
The tutor is impressed, the recruiter is impressed, and Deke wonders what the fuss is all about. Everyone is impressed with everyone, and they all agree to go to Bill Gates' house for tea, and of course, they will all be using the front door.
The End.
Well, not quite the end - my cat stamp is total OLD - it's even dated - 1982 - have I been stamping that long? Oh yes, indeed.
This card, going to Kyler, is a tri-fold 5x7 card with 2 brads and a bit of string - tried to keep it flat.

You had a terrific idea with the before and after. And the obvious solution for a tri-fold card (the brads and string) never once entered my head. TFS.

Love your story and love your card! Those images are way too cute... and it just goes to show ya... never get rid of your stamps. There might be a TPT challenge that calls for it!
