Man Oh DAY, I have had this card swimming in my head all day yesterday and I kept thinking whatever the sketch is I'm gonna do it....and then my faithful golden retriever, who had pretty MINOR surgery has been milking it for all it's worth and does not want me out of his sight, cannot climb stairs and the stamp room is upstairs. He is walking around with his pathetic cone of shame on, and I "THOUGHT" he was sleeping last night and I tried to sneak up in the wee hours when everyone else was sleeping but he caught me on the stairs and was trying to climb over the huge boxes we have in front of them so he can't....and my plan was foiled. I have been sleeping on the couch next to him since he can't climb stairs and always sleeps by my bed. So I went to couch like a good girl and then this morning he really WAS sleeping and I quietly snuck up there and threw this card together.....I had the colored floral image all done from another time, and just had to create the background,,,,but this was the FASTEST card I have made in forever so I would get done before he started trying to climb up and would wake up everyone else in the house......phew!! I worked HARD for this one!!!! Another WEEK before his stitches come out....he is REALLY cramping my STYLE!! ;) Happy Tuesday everyone- oh geez, it's Wednesday already, isn't it??? Happy Day everyone!

Love how you used the image stamp to create the background DP. Stunningly coloured main image, lovely card. As a dog lover, I totally understand your predicament, but truly, would you have it any other way? :-) The love of a dog has no limits ...

Wow Karen! This is gorgeous! Well, at least your creativity hasn't been cramped by your poor recuperating canine! Hope he heals up quickly! I love this card, the texture, the stamping and the great colors. That must have been a lot of work, cutting out that image! Beautiful!

This is gorgeous and I am still laughing at the "cone of shame". I love that movie.. I tease my dog all the time with "Squirrel" and he goes bouncing all over the back yard at the base of all the trees. Hope your dog does well til he gets his stitches out.
Hugs!

Karen, this is another lovely creation and what a story! Hey, go to Petsmart and get him a "donut". It is like a little life preserver around the neck instead of the "cone of shame". Worked great for my golden
