Phyllis didn't choose her screen name for nothing! Her gallery has plenty of sparkle, and luscious layers, and razzle dazzle! Phyllis is not an embellishment hoarder...she actually buys them and then USES them on a card! So I was inspired to do the same. I kept many of the same elements and colors as Phyllis like the red and yellow, a heart, bird, flowers, stripes, rick-rack border, then switched them all around. I actually used this crocheted flower that I have had for months! I only have TWO! At first I thought...but...but...What if I run out?!
Well, we're not thinking like that today, because this weekend is for Phyllis! Get out your good stuff! My card still looked plain, so I got out the paper-piercer! And my scalloped circle punch! And my Glossy Accents on the berries! And a rhinestone for the birdy's eye! The flower was boring so I added a heart shaped button WITH twine! SO liberating!!! And THREE PIECES of ribbon! This is a party, people!
So THANK YOU, Phyllis for donning the crown and taking the reigns! Your gallery is an excellent example of how to "embellish with relish" and make the most stunning cards in town!
edited: I tried to make my title "phunnier" to be eligible for the QFTD prize~!
