This is a wedding card for the friend whom I made the wedding invitations for a couple of months ago. Her colors are pink and white.
This bg is a beautiful light pink....not what it looks like the photo!!!! I got my inspiration for this card from a card made by Lynda Benden who had a card showcased in CardMaker Magazine, Januray 2010 issue, Page 32. Lynda's card is titled "Flourished Valentine".
I used my new CB swirl ef and traced it with a silver Gelly Roll glitter gel pen to give the swirls some sparkle. The bottom edge is bordered with an EK Success punch. The center heart is a Sizzix stencil/embossing plate that I traced with the silver gel pen twice, then popped up one on top of the other. Cut out with oval nesties and placed the half pearls and the silver gems on the heart. I added the ribbon and two larger half pearls at the bottom.
I hope they like it!!!
What do you think?

Lesley, the won't like this - they will LOVE it! How beautiful and creative. The silver looks gorgeous, especially on the EF. That is a steady hand to do that with a roll pen! Whoa!
Love it Lesley!

I just used this embossing folder on my last card - my what patience you must have to go over the entire design with a gelly roll pen! I just sponged the edges on mine 'cuz I'm not that patient. Great border - beautiful card!
