Hi I made this card for today's sketch challenge and to send to a woman at church. Her family is one of the old families of VA (FFV means "first family of Virginia"; I don't know if her family was one of the first, but they've been in VA for a looooonnnngggg time!#, and she is a DAR #daughter of the republic# member. Since American dogwoods are the state flower of VA, I thought this card would be very appropriate!
I had a lot of fun with this sketch; it lends itself well to a modified CAS design, which I've done here #I say modified, because CAS to me doesn't normally have this many layers! But it is clean looking, I think!!# And the flower image fit PERFECTLY in the image spot!! The vertical panel is made of wood; Ruth is a big nature fan!
TFL, and have a wonderful day! And if you live in one of the mid to southern Atlantic states, stay cool!!!)
