A huge congrats to one of the nicest people on SCS, Connie Jo!! You certainly deserve to be da queen today.
Connie Jo: I hope you don't mind me taking liberties on the case of one of your sweet Christmas card, but we were supposed to add a fond story to go with our card this week. Since you know Anne Ryan and we know all about the banter that goes on, I hope you won't be offended on what I did to your card. I promise I will make another one to honor your beautiful talent, but this is a contest, right?
The FruitcakeÂ’s UnFond Memories of Christmas Past:
Twas the weeks before Christmas,
And all over the site,
Were The FruitcakeÂ’s beautiful holiday cards ,
Made most every night.
The FruitcakeÂ’s cards were created with the utmost of care,
In hopes that Anne Ryan soon would be there.
Fruitcake was happy for all that she did,
While Anne Ryan was busy flipping her lid.
While The Fruitcake and cards were happily creating,
She would suffer soon from Anne RyanÂ’s berating.
Away to my cards,
I held on tight,
While Anne Ryan continued
To fill me with fright.
The Fruitcake wanted love and peace to show
While Anne Ryan continued to be her foe.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But Anne Ryan with three faces that put me in fear.
With a little more time, so scared and afraid,
I knew I was in for Anne RyanÂ’s tyrade.
So, this is my humorous story so feeble,
But I’m resting up now to fight Anne and her “people”!
Sorry Anne, I just couldnÂ’t resist this and since you
named me Fruitcake, I felt it my duty to do something with a Christmas theme since Fruitcakes are eaten mostly at Christmas.
Debzi, put on your investigative hat and make sure that you confirm that this is, in fact, Anne Ryan. The fake diamond ring, red lipstick, chin hair, fake gold purse, bloodshot eyes, rumpled thrift store clohting and sticking her tongueth out pretty much confirms it is HER, but I'll rely on your 9999 IQ to set the record straight!
Anne, itÂ’s also an opportunity to make your very SPECIAL
holiday card for December. I can now check you
off my list of Christmas cards to make.
I hope anyone who sees this hideous card will understand it's all in humor and that I really do better coloring than this. It's just I had to depict Anne in her rumpled thrift store clothes.
Thanks so much for taking a look and feel free to exit out as soon as possible!! LOL!!

Oh my goodness.. I don't want to get into the middle of this thingy that is going on... or on going.. which ever the case may be... but hey... I just wanted to say that I think the story is so darn funny... it must be why you are posting so late... as it must have taken an eternity to write... the card is also a work of art... in that you have been able to show the three faces of a person is so very amazing on one smallish size card..
LOL... plus some more... I think Carol says it the bestest of all.. I almost peed in my pants... so very cute and funny...
How ever did you find out that she was calling you fruit cake??? My goodness what a horrible name... Does anyone ever eat that stuff... I thought it was made for tacky book ends... but to give someone that name!!!!???? Wow... Oh well...
I will let the two of you battle this out... so funny though.. hope this problem gets solved... if not ... is it one of those on going things... like continued next week..
This has been a fun challenge... to say the least..

Just FYI: I know Fruitcake sounds like a "horrible" name that Anne gave me. However, I found it to be quite appropriate and uplifting. You see Anne doesn't like fruitcakes or fruitcake people, so that makes me very happy. If she doesn't like me, The Fruitcake, then she'll leave me alone. Catch my drift . . . I also didn't want to give her the satisfaction of knowing she got under my skin - so, ssshhhh...let's keep it a secret!! LOL!!

Oh-oh! Pamzi's in BIG TROUBLE now! Have you totally lost your marbles. Oh wait! I took another look at the photo, and to be sure, you have completely lost all of your marbles. Not one in sight. Zilch.
I had to look two or three times to make sure this was one of your creations Fruitflake! Really. To be honest, your colouring kinda sucks big-time. Not up to your usual standards at all. I know you're trying to use the excuse that it is supposed to look like rumpled clothing but I'm not buying that. Just coloured it way to quickly Flakezi. Take your time - as some have advised you - try to focus girl. Other things I noted: There are no pearls. No nesties. No perfect layers. No real thought to the placement of your images/sentiments. Lotz of punchez though. That's a good thing.
Your poetic talents were unknown to me before today. You are definitely a hoot girl. And in BIG TROUBLE. Did you forget that Annie-Jo has PEOPLE Pamzi? But I can be thankful because I can already sense that they're no longer after me. There's a new target in town. Better watch your back.
CJ9 will absolutely love your tribute card. Glad you cleared up that the photo of the old gal with the purse was Annie-Jo or CJ9 might have wondered if you were trying to mock her as we've been told she carries her purse everywhere she goes.
Hugz Pam. It was fun knowing you. RYPH! I just thought of something - make sure you name me as beneficiary for all your punchin' stuff. OK. ;-)

OH MY GAWD!!!! This is so freaking hilarious tonite on here. Wowee, Pam, it sounds like you are in for a licking (like in Catholic schools days) I hope she doesn't hurt you too bad. Please Anne, be merciful to her, she is only funnin' with you !! Pam, I hope you are still here tomorrow when I tune back in. I still have to go back and attach a story to my card, which I was too tired to do last night after working this week like a BEAR - Lot of fun tonite girls, you are the BEST!!

What a Friend and sister!!!! You have taken the heat off me with Annie Jo. I am SURE I am not her target anymore after this....Christmas card!!! Deb didn't have to go through all of that trouble with her handy dandy verification machine. I knew it was Annie Jo because of the red lipstick....her trademark color. You are soooooooo brave to take on Annie this way. I have no advice or help to give you......Annie always wins!!! Her people are very good.
You take the cake with the three faces of Annie Jo. There might be a book or movie in this one. Thank you for bringing the laughter to this day. I definitely know HOW you got your name Fruitcake!!!
Very fun card and I really think you made a perfect case of my snowman!!! Thank you my SCS sister for participating in my special day.
hugs,

Oh my word Fruitcake......you will need to go deep into hiding after this one my friend. AND I mean DEEP! Anne has people EVERYWHERE! What were you thinking? What ever it was I am so glad you were thinking cause this is just a Hoot! The three faces of our Anne Ryan are just a clever rendition of her for sure. This is totally LOL funny my friend. You probably had trouble with your coloring do to the fact that you were in some dark hiding place while putting this together. hehe So glad Deborah confirmed for us all that this is totally a for real depiction of Anne herself. That's some machine she has over there in that Canada place. Gonna have to get me one of those. Don't know why I would need one, but I so like new toys! hehe
Well, Fruitcake, you sure rocked the boat with this one. For that I say "Job Well Done". hehe ....TFS :0)
