This is the card I made for my dear hubby for Father's Day!! He is such a car guy--I know he'll love my "Goodyear" tire and the "wheelie love you" sentiment. The stamp I used to make the red background panel is a Michael's $1 bin stamp from five years ago or so. It's a sporty little hatchback that looks an awful lot like the 1974 Datsun 260Z that he is currently restoring.
I was able to hit a bunch of challenges with this card. Details are below.
Thanks for looking!!
Emily

This is great! Like the bumpy road/corrugated piece behind the wheel. It's wheelie cute!

Wicked cute card Emily! I like the background Dp you created and the "GOODYEAR" lettering looks so authentic - even the crimping ofthe white strip reminds me of tire tracks - great job!!

Way to hit all those challenges, Emily! Wow! You are, as I have said before, such a master at that. I like the punny sentiment, and the Good Year tire (also hints at a good year with each other, no?)

Hi Emily! This is such a wonderful card and I am sure it will mean a lot to your husband. I love doing cards for my hubby that relate to the things he loves the most. That $1 car stamp was a total bonus for you!
