These are the three cards that I made on Wednesday night for the CAS DT challenge. Only one will be considered for the finals and I have to decide by tomorrow which one to leave the keyword on.
When Jen gave us the theme of water, my thoughts went like this: "yeah, right. What about those gel cards...no don't want to make one of those. What about some punny fish...or lighthouses...or umbrellas...or a vase of flowers (after all, they're in water...lol!)." Then, I thought, "well, you could do anything in watercolor, after all it is water-based!" You can see that I got a little bit wierd!
So, this is one of my ship stamps. This will go into my hubby's stash of cards since it is "masculine enough" for him. I like this one too, but it is taking a close second to my "best fishes" card at the current moment.

Diane, I love the vintage feel, yet modern look to this card. Great job with the coloring. The black matt really ties the whole thing together.
gorgeous

Your color choices are super on this one! I love how you lightly colored the image. I would have a hard time picking the one to keep on these, but so far this is my fav. What a great masculine card!

Hey, I have that TAC ship collage stamp, too!!! Love how you used it--great CAS layout. Kinda short-sighted of me, but I never thought to watercolor it. Glad you did--it looks fabulous! I agree with your tendency toward submitting the fish card for your CAS challenge, but this is still so lovely
