Hi! This is a double challenge card. 1st challenge is today`s Color Challenge which was to use Melon Mambo, Soft Suede, Neutrals and the dessert option was wood. Read about it here. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I thought my embossed bg resembled wood paneling. The 2nd challenge is Teaparty Tuesday. Read about it here. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
We are off to the Bat Cave and I brought along these poppies to pretty it up and have it smell good.I stamped this Hero Arts image with HA Chalk Ink and embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. I then stamped with brown Memento Ink on white cs and colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol then cut the blooms out and popped them up. The inside has SU DP and I used a SU Border Punch. I tied twine around my main panel. The envelope is stamped with another poppy from HA. I got this idea from the HA blog I added pearls..\ Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day! It is dark and dreary here today (although I am not complaining as we need rain) but it made it very difficult to photograph. I have another picture on my blog if you would care to visit. http://paper-rose-petals.blogspot.com/
I love when you stop by!!

Whoa! Look at those pretty pink posies against that dark and drab Bat Cave Wall! Holy Batman! I love how they pop against the black....I am sure glad you tied em on there too cuz the bats flying around at full speed might blow them clean off your card! Wonderful card Judi.....eye catching and definately smelly! On the good side....for sure!

Judi!!! Love this background with the mambo flowers. It does look like wood enough to me too. What beautiful embossing my friend. Well done, love the twine! TFS

I love this! Your melon poppies really stand out against the dark background! I know that Aunt BeBatrice will fall asleep (like in the wizard of oz) when she smells these poppies! Quick, get some snow!!
