This card is for two, that's right, two challenges. One is the F4A9 taking a virtual vacation and the other is QFTD06. Cathleen, aka ctorina, is our new Queen for today! Congrats Cathleen! Enjoy yourself.
For my virtual vaca I chose to go camping with my Rosco Dog. I am showing him all the wonderful stars up in the sky. hehe He's lovin it. Can you tell?
For the QFTD challenge, I chose to CASE this card of Cathleens. She has a wonderful gallery. I went all the way back to the beginning, hoping to find an easier card to case.
Things changed: tweaked layout a tad, changed image....day to night, ribbon and flower to a zipper and tab, and colors.
Used a Mo's Digi as my image, colored with copics, versa marked and clear ep'd. Cut out with a coluzzle sponging edges.
For the bg, I stamped the zipper with a new stamp I made. Made the tab by drawing one, tracing it twice, glued altogether and eb with gold ep. Stamped all the stars with whisper white and white ep'd. Reverse masked to do the sun, then masked the sun and sponged faded jeans for the night sky.
Put this altogether then put on a white card which I had sponged the edges with two colors and added the long doodles.
Again, Congrats Cathleen! Hope you like my case of your card......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Let's go camping!

Ok, sis, I am starting to worry that there was a mix up at the hospital and I am not your real sister. This is totally amazingly brilliant. Love your idea of having the sun behind the zipper and you have let a peek of it slip out during your night scene. Just toooooo clever. love it sis. I know I cannot claim this one since it will be going to the Queen for the Day, Cathleen. You could make another one though!!! just a thought...... tfs.
hugs,

Hey Rosco, see that up there? That shiny thing that is hovering above those trees high up in the sky? That is the thing that landed in the back yard last year and scooped me up, took me aboard, gave me a piece of cardstock and a pair of scissors and told me to make a card! They said they were studying a Mutnik brain. They said it was a little more active than the average human and they wanted to tap into it.......something about selling my creativity for big bucks! It was crazy!
Then I woke up and my hair was curly. You remember don't ya? The day my hair went curly and outa control? If they come back we gotta ask them how they did that cuz people would pay money to get curly hair like mine!
Whisper.....I wanna study your brain! I would even take the curley hair! You are one of a kind! What a crazy awesome card! Snort! Love the zipper! Love it!

Yeah, I triple sis's idea that you might have to make a couple of few of this incredibly INSPIRED creation ... 'cause I want one, too!
MutNut, you send me OVER the edge. You are so stinkin' talented that if I didn't love you so, it would make me tired.
Okay, that's a lie. I do love you so, but I would never tire of seeing your amazing creations. Maybe might could be a little jealous ... well, yah. Duh. Not going to lie here in a public forum.
Love your creation, sweet girl! Thanks for playing and honoring our Cathleen with your innovative creation. YOU ROCK!!!! Love the zipper, baby!
