I have had this hymn running through my head all week. I have always loved lilies of the valley. Growing up my mom kept telling me that when I turned 16 she would buy me some lilies of the valley. I remember her bringing them home from the garden store. We planted them, and I loved their fragrance.
I printed the hymn on cream cardstock. The lilies of the valley were my own drawing that I turned into a digital image. I added hot glue pearls in the corner because it felt like it needed something. I punched and pierced the white panel to make it look like lace. I finished it off with a layers of color butterfly.
This is for today's sketch challenge as well as the stampin' sisters in Christ challenge to make a card with flowers on it.

MariLynn - this is just gorgeous! I love the Lily of the Valley it is so beautiful - and the Layers of Color butterfly is just perfect there! Lily of the Valley always hold special meaning to me after I heard a story about valley in South Africa, where in the deepest darkest valley, the most beautiful Lily grows - we try and rush through the valleys in our lives yet it is there that true beauty can be found - Jesus is the Lily of the Valley and we can find that true beauty with Him, there in the valley - it has always stayed with me! Love this MariLynn! It is great to see you play along with Stampin' Sisters in Christ - we look forward to seeing you next week! {{{hugs}}}
