For today's Inspiration Challenge, IC224, to be inspired by the photos at Cutest Food. I was inspired by these cute chickie omelets: http://cutestfood.com/category/omelets/
I again used this week's Limelight Papercrafts Sketch 43 (LLPC043) to use the given sketch and try to incorporate your favorite RIBBON. I love this paisley lime grosgrain ribbon from my stash!!
I bought this little sequined chick applique in a clearance sidewalk sale at A.C. Moore several years ago thinking it would be an adorable embellishment for one of my fabric totes or handbags. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that it is an adhesive, not iron-on, applique and not really usable with fabric. I recently came across it again and dropped it into my papercrafting embellishments. I thought it was a great match for those cute omelets!!
OH, and see that teensy prima by my chick? That was part of a Christmas gift from my friend Meredith (Crafty Math Chick here on SCS). She sent me a little pack of these adorable primas and I've been dying to use them--this card was perfect!! Can't wait to use more!!
The weather is glorious here today--can't wait to get outside to work in the yard after lunch!!

I love this! Such a cute chick made from all those sequins - we always find something to do with those bits and pieces we hoard, don't we? And the ribbon is wonderful - I love the paisley design on it. TFS!

How adorable, Emily! I'm glad you found a way to use that cute, sequin chick. And, he is framed beautifully with that MS PATP. Love those things. Wonderful paisley ribbon and slide. It's such a bright, cheerful, and pretty Easter card.
