I've made this card tonight for combined challenges: Crafty Creations challenges: flowers, Teapot Tuesday: quilted teapot inspiration and today's color challenge: bashful celery melons.
Last but so not least: The Twisted Sister's challenge to make a reflection card (figuratively or literally). I only drink tea when I want some comfort, and I hug my cup and inhale the steam and stare into the cup and lose myself in the warmth of it. I reflect on moments in my life that have brought me comfort and happiness. I even read the leaves sometimes.
I cut the teacup and mini teapot with A Child's Year cricut cartridge. The flowers are hand cut and layered from the same dp as the paper pieced cup. I used both sides of the dp to piece the cup.
Well Mothermark has us quilting!! Matilda D. Munn A.K.A Aquilta The Hun, got all up in her face about us paper pushers not having a softer side like her quilting queen bees, but Mothermark said "Uh huh, Hun, we do!" and would not back down and the challenge was on!! So I'm bringing my quilted teacup to the teaparty and I'm ready to show Aquilta
who's cup can really hold it's tea! Move over Ms. D. Munn, because Chenille, the judge, will be sipping tea with us at the PAPER Quilter's Hall of Fame this year!

Deena, to read your words about tea just made me smile. Your design is beautiful, and the colors heart warming- like your tea. Beautiful sis! LYMI
