What a fun combination of Cards for a Cause Challenges - For this weeks teaparty we have to show up Aquilta the Hun with our quilting prowess and for the color challenge we need to use green blue and raspberry.
AND this month we are sending our cards (if they are pretty enough!) to Lindsay who needs our prayers and encouragement. Some great reasons to make a card huh?!
My stamps are all Waltzingmouse Off Beat Backgrounds and Sewing Box Hugs.
The sentiment frame is Spellbinders Fancy tags but I cut the fleur de lis ends off as they were too fancy for this homespun quilt card! I sewed around the circle twice and sponged all the edges with So Saffron Ink.
And I tucked in another challenge here - the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World! whooo hoo!!!
Thanks Cindy for inspiring us to be conscientious card makers!

Julia this card shows the versatility of your stamping style.....I would never think of you as a "country stamper" - more eclectic actually and yet you nailed this beautiful country style right here!! It's LOVELY!!

I am just blown away by the beauty of this card! Its the most awesome thing.....You simply blow me away.....I think for sure there are 42,000 stitches on these hearts and if not, then there are 42,000 stitches on all the cards going to Lindsay!
So happy you came to the teaparty....Sorry I was late in coming to greet you.....Hey, Bonnie brough more cake, lets go get some! Take that Aquilta! She was so dumb to challenge US!!!
