For this VSN challenge we were supposed to make a tea bag folding card. I have never tried this before but I enjoy origami (and it is a great way to great geometric concepts to students as well!) so I wanted to give it a try. I used one of the quilt square designs from Papertrey Ink's Quilter's Sampler. In the future, I recommend trying this technique with squares that are bigger than 1". As you can see, I had a little difficulty lining up the edges, but it isn't too awful for a first try right? I am not sure I like the rhinestone I added to the center of the design, what do you think?
I stamped the spool , cut it out, and wound some red baker's twine around it and popped it up with dimensionals.
Thank you for the links to the tutorials and a FUN challenge that I look forward to trying again sometime. Thank you also to everyone who takes the time to look at my card.
