Well, since I always seem to be rush, rush, rushing to get my cards done in December once the Post Office deadline has passed me by, I signed up for the CCC10 Christmas Card Challenge here on SCS.
I did indeed have my January batch of cards completed before midnight last night - I signed up to make 8 per month and actually made 9.
I changed it to a rectangular card, used an embossing strip instead of a border punch, punched flowers instead of primas, changed the sentiment and moved the fold from the top to the left side.
I needed my cards to be pretty flat and fairly lightweight for mailing purposes. Felt good to have a bit of a head start... Hope I can keep it up!

Wow! Good for you. This is what Pammy needs to do after all those cards she made this past year. Your card is awesome and I see many others thought so, also. My favorite sentiment set.

Gorgeous card Heather. Looks like I've gotten behind on your gallery. I probably should join that challenge too since I didn't get any card out this past Christmas :(
I love the red and white of this card which is simple, classic and elegant all at the same time.

Oh my goodness . . . this card is so very pretty! It is not so "over the top" that it couldn't be mass produced, yet it looks very classy. Thank you so much for sharing your talent and a beautiful card that I'm sure to be casing!

Such beauty in that elegant card! I love the simplicity and the way you've used just touched of color with the red. I especially found the border used just outstanding. What a special card!
From one fellow canadian to another, I so admire your talent and your artistry in creating such gorgeous cards.
