Hi! This card was made for today's Clean And Simple Challenge: Cut it Out AND for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Scratch n' Sniff.
I wanted to make a REALLY fast card today. So, I decided to use my Spellbinders' butterfly and my Mark's Finest Papers Sunflower. I stamped the sunflower onto Snow Storm Smooth in Noir. Next, I cut it out and sponged on Sun Flower and Raw Sienna Palette inks for the petals. I sponged in just a BIT of Sun Flower in the center and added in Cognac.
The butterfly was cut and embossed with the die. Next, I rubbed the Noir pad over the embossed areas. I sponged in with Nude, Orangerie and Moulin Rouge Palette Inks. (The frame for the images is the card base. It was embossed with a Nestie.) The leaves are Spellbinders dies. I cut them, and then sponged in Chartreuse and Landscape.
I mixed a VERY SMALL amount of lemonade mix into a VERY small amount of CLEAR embossing powder. Next, I used a VersaMark PEN to INK in the center of the sunflower and the entire butterfly. I embossed them with the lemonade/embossing powder. You know what? It works!!!
Finished card size: 5" square.
Total Time to complete: 39 minutes. (I had to FIND that package of lemonade mix!)

What a happy sunflower!! I needed that today because it is cold and gloomy here in the Northeast. Thanks for sharing!
