This is my FIRST Flourishes Challenge. I've been wanting to try their challenges and saw this sketch for the week that I thought I could make into yet another Christmas card.
I'm still trying to reach my 60 card Christmas goal, so please bear with me on my many holiday uploads as of late. I need to get some more of my Christian holiday cards ready, so I used A Wish For Peace set again.
.I used Swiss Dots ef on the very vanilla mat, then I layered it with some old patterned paper I had for scrapbooking made by Paper Pizazz for the sketch design.
.I embossed all the pattered papers with swiss dots and/or holly ribbons ef's. I embossed the main image with swiss dots ef also. Then I added some sparkle, a poinsetta/branch/dew drop treatment on the right corner and 3 dew drops below the image. The sketch called for there to be something in the lower right corner, but it balanced out the design better to put it on the top right corner. The branches were punched with pearl glitter paper, so they give a little sparkle.
.Kind of couldn't find a place for a ribbon and I thought to go ahead and leave it off so the image and poinsettia can take center stage.
Thanks SO MUCH for visiting my gallery and if you have a quick moment, let me know what you think!
