I love Birgit's cards and when I saw her tutorial for Brick Wall technique, I just had to try it. I stamped my MS two step flowers with SU two step leaves. I then made my bricks. It helped me to # them on the back as I cut them out. I sponged the edges and adhered them to my peach cardstock. I then used today's sketch challenge to finish the card. I scored my squares and my base. I added brads to the corners of the squares. I wanted to stamp a flourish for my butterfly but I was so apprehensive, because I knew it was a one shot thing, because it took so long to make my bricks, that if I had messed up, I probably would have given up. Fortunately it turned out ok. I added one of my signature butterflies. I added flakes of glitter to make it furfuraceous.
If you don't know what furfuraceous means check out Kelly's Word of the Week Challenge.
