This is my sample card for the VSOCT09D sketch challenge in the Verve October Release Week Challenges. It's also a sneak peek at a new set called Holly Jolly releasing from Verve 10/23.
Pretty clean & simple for me. I scored the Kraft card base with my Scor-Pal for a lattice look. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red on a square cut and embossed with Classic Square Nestabilties. I stamped the sprig of holly next to the sentiment and colored with Copics. The ribbon is SU! real red polka dot grosgrain and I tied with twine and reinforced my cardstock with a jumbo eyelet.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, Julee! For me???? You shouldn't have!!! Hee hee hee!
I love this!!! The colors, the sentiment (anything with my name in it is perfect!), the scored background, and the elegant simplicity all make this a wonderful card!

You really worked that ScorePal for this one and it turned out fabulous! Love that real read with the craft cardstock, so striking! And really a clean look.

This is so striking with the red and white against the kraft, and I love how you did the semi circle for your jumbo eyelet, as well as the cute polkadotted ribbon!
