Wooo Hooo, I took yesterday off bc of a drs apt and then spent the rest of the evening ((and all night)) stamping. *at last...stamping again, I was covered in ink by 4 am*
I've got holiday cards on the brain bc I help design for my BFFs stamp camps and workshops. I wanted to try this set with a bit of watercoloring, and besides, I was procrastinating the cards I really needed to make. I think this image is a bit challenging bc the snowmen are white so they really need a background. So I used a bit of Bermuda Bay and an aqua painter. Then I couldn't find my Water Color paper (it's right here somewhere.. uh, nevermind!) so I found a piece of Confetti white and when from there. When it was done, one red fleck from the paper stood out so I decided to add other red flecks with my Melon Mombo marker. Weird? Yes, but it's ballanced to me now. The sketch challenge and the color challenge from this week helped a TON (I adore the challenges!). I had to add a bit of bling with stickles too. Oh, and I cheated a bit, I'm still using scraps of the pirouette pink rather than cut into a new Pretty in Pink (I know what you're thinking... "what...ev'..er)!

I know from experience that snowmen pictures take a bit more work to colour, but you did a great job here. And yeah, I like how you put the red dots in the sky- it works!
