Yikes, I cannot stay away from the IC today. Stef, I just love your challenge!
Pat Smethers sent me some fabulous cowboy images a bit ago and I've been itching to use them. When I saw the cowboy boot here: http://www.cwdkids.com/servlet/quagg...cat=boys-shoes, I knew I had to use one of the images!
I can't find the one in particular that I somewhat CASED from Pat's gallery, but it appeared that she stamped this image on dp. Well, I had this image on white cardstock, so I stamped over it with a bg stamp in TH Tea Dye then sponged it with Really Rust.
I used a new embossing folder from Sizzix on sponged SuedeTex paper and layered that over textured copper paper.
I used copper brads that were a gift from Anne Ryan, thanks Anne, and a couple of horseshoe charms.

Hey M, so nice to see you playing with us That does remind me so much of John Wayne ! Lol. This was a tough sketch, and you did great! Those cowboy charms are so unique, they added just the right touch to it and also the black strings with the brads. It almost feels like laceup boot. Thanks so much for sharing with us this week, xox ~Jeni & MMSC DT

How did I miss this yesterday - I think I must have been in a daze yesterday. I could see Pat in this card and you too which is so cool (two of my favorite people plus some stuff from Anne too and she is definitely on my favorite list too). This is really super - I love the way you did the brads and put it altogether and how cool that Pat stamped this on DP - makes it have so much extra interest. TFS!
