Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Don't Fade Away. Participants were to stamp in bleach onto 1 color of cardstock. Whatever that cardstock "turned" because of the bleach was the second color that could be used in the color challenge. Plus, we could use a neutral color.
I chose Via Red as my card stock color. Why? Because I have VERY old bleach, (over 8 months...), that didn't change ANY of my SU! colors! That's right! They just got a watered down color...BLACK didn't even change! So, I grabbed the Via, and Viola! It turned this Via Brown color! Note to self...go buy some NEW bleach!
I stamped the butterfly and flower in bleach onto the Via Red. I waited about an hour for it to completely dry, and decided I needed to use Mahogany as my neutral color! I outlined the butterfly and flower with Copic Marker that matched my Mahogany paper. Next, cut out the images and popped them onto the base.
I found a SMALL scrap of the K&Company designer paper that matched the Brown and Mahogany Via card stock and used that as a background.

Thanks for the tip about old bleach, that must be why mine did not turn out well either. This looks great so whatever you did to redeem your card, it worked.
