Grab your finest hat and white gloves for we're off to meet Sabrina (Cook22) in Dublin, Ireland today for da Muddermark's tea party! I am so excited; I've never been to Ireland! Sabrina is so classy and refined that we all need to be on our best behavior today (you got that, Bertie?)
Please make note that you'll definitely want to bring your hat since I understand we're at risk for bird doo-doo in our hair.....blucky, blucky poo-poo!! And, if you forget your hat, you have to come in the back door so we don't embarass Sabrina with any unwanted additions in our elegantly coiffed hairs!
I chose to use this scalloped Spellbinder die to simulate the shape of a hat, and I used Roses in Winter because that is the stamp set that immediately came to mind when I saw the inspiration teapot. My little birdies are from the Love You Much stamp set; I cut them out and popped them up with dimensionals. The speckles are from Petal Pushers. I stamped this pattern on a full sheet of white cardstock so I can use some of it again in future designs.
I hope to see you there
with no bird doo-doo in your hair!

I really love this set. I think it is so beautiful. I really like the way you added the sentiment. Such a pretty card for this garden party. Your sponging really draws your eye to the behaving birds. Super job..

AS Dawn just said, at least your birds are behaving! Mutnik is having a problem with hers!
Very pretty card. I have enjoyed reading all the comments and have admired Mothermark for some time. May have to give this a try next week!

Charlene, thanks for saving me from those cooing tweeting doves today...your card is the prettiest of them all...errr...well, yes, I'll stick with that. I thought of those flowers first, too...but needed birds to complete the picture, if ya know what I mean. Love your card, this would be perfect for a Valentine's, anniversary, love you...has more uses than cards with birds wearing hats and poop at their feet, but hey, to each his own. My cards usually sit there but I am determined to mail them off!!

You are a good googler Bertie! Overweight birdies??? Yikes, thats not a good thing as they are dive bombing around our heads.....and did you see Maureen's birdie she brought...its one of those Jurasic Park kinda birdies and I am sure very over weight! Wont have to be worried about the bomps dropping outa that birdie! Snort!
We are a good team.....I tell you to google and you do! Snort!

This is a stunning card!!! I love the background that you created with those stamps. It's so eyecatching. The scallop edge is a wonderful way to highlight this card. Very nicely done!
