Congratulations Roxie.... you are so deserving of this honour... I love your gallery....
Here is the card I chose to case "Fly Fishing" Fly Fishing by Rox71 at Splitcoaststampers
It was a sketch challenge card - so I did change the layout. Used a different stamp and colours. But kept the same theme.
Image stamped on water colour paper in Stazon jet black. water coloured with reinkers, sponged on sky. I drew in the white and black lines on the fishermans jacket to make it a plaid jacket. I used a small tree stamp from Victorine originals to stamp the two trees on the left side of the fisherman. Tore the dark blue dp to make the waves. I love the fish jumping all over the place. Added diamond stickles to the white caps to give it some sparkle.

As soon as I saw your card I knew exactly which card you were casing. Love your version with all its wonderful details and accents. Your coloring is just fabulous on those fish.

Aaaack! Once again, I am amazed by torn paper! Lol- that is how I got my start in SU! (really, I was fascinated!) Pat, I love this look! The torn paper and the shimmer on the water is gorgeous!
