So this card was for my DH. I say "was" because after I gave it to him, I promptly stole it back to put on my craft desk because it's just too adorable!
It's based on SC218, but it's an odd card size (6 1/4 x 4 3/4 because that's the size of the polka scrap I had left, and I couldn't bear to cut it. I colored Annie with copics, adding some stickles on the strings. The flowers are actually colored with Bics & Stampin' Up because I didn't have a yellow to match. The flower she's reaching for is popdotted. I added a little handstiching to the corner of the blue & to the stripes. I just love the preppy look of this!
Stamps: Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis Choose, The Cat's Pajamas sentiment
Paper: PTI cardstock, SU DP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Colorbox red chalk
Other: PTI buttons, floss, paper piercer, Martha Stewart border punch, copics, popdots,

Your favourite for 2009 is super. In general I'm not a big fan of lots of patterns and embellishments, but you have done this so well that I really like it. I think the big size of the main image is what works best.

Oh, I see why this is your favorite for the year. First, I love the polka dots and then the buttons and all your stitches just made it so adorable. Cute, cute image, also. Yes, this is certainly a winner!!
