Today's Ways to Use it challenge theme is patterned paper, using what you have in patterned paper and giving it a new look.
My mom had asked for a bookmark (you can read the story of why over at my blog if you like). So I had this idea to create the feeling of treasured special edition books on patterned paper with gold accents (strip on bottom).
I watercolored the chair from the new Flourishes set and added the books on/near the chair.
I gave the top of the bookmark the feeling of an open book too with my Top Note Die, and the ribbons like another bookmark in the book.

Thanks for looking!

Very creative the way you used the Top Note to create the open book look at the top of the bookmark.
As an avid reader, I wish your mother many happy hours of reading. I would be lost without books - old treasures and new finds.

This is so wonderful Christine. I just love it all. Your coloring on the chair is phenominal. This is almost to pretty to be on the inside of a book. Love the top you cut with the die. Such a sweet thing...She will love it..
