I was getting ready to go to bed but decided to do this sketch for today. I stepped on a pencil with the lead in it and had to get my husband out of bed this morning. I guess I need to be a little neater while I stamp. Ok, here is my story. I started out by using cardboard type of c/s with vanilla. I pierced holes all around the sides. I distressed the edges and used distress ink also. I took the vanilla c/s, the CB swiss dots folder, and the scor-pal for the bottom. I stamped the sentiment from of Hero Arts. I used the flower and swiss dots folders as well. I stamped the trees using a Studio G stamp but only used these 3 of 9 that were on the stamp. The trees are stamped on vanilla c/s and colored with prismacolor pencils. I used the CB scallop square punch. I added gold pearls throughout the card. I also used the corner punch 3 times and set a gold pearl in the corner. I added a gold ribbon to the top and pearls to the corners. I took my gold leaf pen and went over the scor pal lines because it looked empty there. I sponged on the vanilla too. It was a bit of a challenge for me. Do you think I should take the ribbon off?. I hope you like it. Thanks Roxy for the challenge. Have a great morning!
