Hello everyone, I sure can't adjust to this time change with all of my chores... It seems like it takes me a little longer every day to get my card made. Oh well, it's not forever. This is the card I made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge, to use pearls. I made this card for my boss who is having surgery on her foot tomorrow as an out patient. So Karen if you're looking through the gallery before you get this Monday, please, act surprised...My base card is Chocolate Chip, Next layer is DP from Momenta, next is a layer of Elegant Eggplant, and then the top layer is DP from Crossed Paths. I think this is sooo pretty... The original 12 x 12 piece was sponged around the edges, so I sponged two of the sides with Basic Brown. My image is from Eastern Influences and I colored it with SU markers and cut out. I decided to cut the leaves off and use the MS punch and punch them out of Old Olive. Added stickles to the flower. This is layered on another piece of DP from Momenta which I cut out with the oval nestibilities and sponged around the edge with Basic Brown and Perfect Plum, this is layered on a piece of Hemp - Vanilla Fabric that I cut out with the nestibilities and sponged with Basic Brown. This is layered on a piece of Elegant Eggplant cut with the nestibilities and I added dots from the Signo White Pen, Punched butterfly out with the MS Butterfly Punch from K & Company Brown Glitter Paper, the Sentiment is from Dot Greetings (retired) Stamped in Basic Brown on Vanilla CS cut with the SU oval punch and layered on Elegant Eggplant I outlined it with stickles, and doodled the edges with the white pen. This is popped up on pop dots. Added Ribbon, stick pin and pearls from SU Pretties. TFL
