Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Stamps in Disguise!
I woke up at 4AM, looked at the challenge, sighed and went back to bed....I just didn't have it in me to come up with a cute little card. I had some ideas, but I just didn't want to "think."
So, when I woke up about an hour ago, this stamp set was on my stampin' table! That Speedy the Cat! He's always sooooo smart! I looked at the Spooky Tree and then saw this new Martha Stewart punch and thought...hmmmm.....SNOW SWIRLS!
The swirls are actually the big tree's limbs! I stamped them in Versa Mark and embossed them in white. Next, I CUT OFF the "created by" on the "angel" stamp and stamped it in Versa Mark and embossed it.
Next, I sponged Bashful Blue, Tempting Turquoise and Brocade Blue to create the scene. The background was embossed with the Spooky Tree Swirls, too.
I hand cut the sentiment, as the small oval was WAY TOO BIG! The finished card size is 4 1/2" square. The scene is 2 1/4" square!
