I made this for WT189, we were to use only one word on the front of the card, though there could be more inside.
Well, I don't have a lot of time today. Practicing for a wedding tomorrow, lost my cell-phone and had to deal with that, and of course work. And a trip to the Post Office to collect two parcels.
So I went for VERY quick and easy. Luckily a friend passed some Hero Arts Christmas word stamps on to me! They are so not my style, but I thought I'd see could I use them this year and pass them on to someone else if not, and today was my chance.
I stamped the Rubber Romance image onto white card and coloured it with H2Os. My pink is the flower .
I sponged the edges with black and added a narrow mat of silver. I stamped Peace directly onto a pearlescent card base (lilac, for want of a better description) and added the stamped image. That's me. I don't feel I've done justice to the challenge, but I do have one more Christmas card down.
Edited to add - now I look at it, I think my pink flower is meant to be two pears!! It's the first time I'd stamped the image and I was a bit rushed. But it's no partridge, so maybe I'm just being paranoid.
