I made this for Cindy's Teapot Challenge #13 http://mothermark.blogspot.com/2008/...uesday-13.html, and for this week's sketch challenge. It's also for Cammie's Heart to Heart - http://myblogbycammie.blogspot.com/2...log-candy.html. I made a card for a friend over here, but I also wanted to make one to send the nursing home where her grandmother was.
I don't often make cards this size (standard sheet of card folded in half) but some of Cindy's teapots demand the space, LOL.
I stamped the base card with a Rhonna Farrer flourish and a Marvy marker.
The brown and orange layers are embossed with D'Vine Swirl. The top layer is DCWV, and all three layers were stitched onto the base. The leaves are BG chipboard and the flourish is Maya Road. I painted them with acrylic paints. My small punch wouldn't punch through the thin card I carefully painted with purple and shimmer, so my grapes are just punched from some purple card and most of them are up on foam tape. The sentiment was generated in Word and reads *Because you Care*, layered up on a scallop circle and embellished with a green pearl brad and some black Stickles.
I broke a needle and ran out of bobbin thread!!
