Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge Catherine's Animals. The Website is full of photos by Catherine Ledner that were showcased in her book "Animal House."
Last evening, I was looking over my new stamps from Sweet N Sassy, and really READ the sentiments... I laughed myself silly over this sentiment...You see, I LOVE fried Turkey...Every year we purchase 5 turkeys around Thanksgiving. We freeze three. Then, on Thanksgiving day, Mark and Markie FRY two, one for the family dinner...and ONE for Speedy the Cat and ME!!! He and I will eat a 12 pound turkey in an afternoon! I'm totally serious! Talk about Turkey Coma! LOL!
My parents have been dining out on Speedy the Cat's escapades for YEARS, yet, this is their FAVORITE story! (Of course, it is quite interesting to hear that Speedy the Cat and I BOTH drool and snore on the couch after our big feast...I LOVE to have them tell this to my FRIENDS, my husband's BOSS, and of course to MY CUSTOMERS! YIKES!)
The image was stamped 2 times onto watercolor paper and colored in with markers and colored pencils. The images were cut and layered.
