For the life of me, I have no idea why this set has a love/hate relationship with stampers. It was the only set that I maybe wanted during the demo preorder.
So this is for a dear, dear friend who hates sock monkeys....haha.
The square portion IS the layout...and it is a card that opens up. The cocoa base is 4.25x5.5.
I look forward to reading your reason behind loving or hating this monkey. haha

I'm in the "don't love the sock monkey" camp. And I had one as a child. I think it's one of those either you love it or you hate it thing. But your card is fabulous Dawn!!

I never had a sock monkey, and I definitely don't feel deprived, LOL! When I was in college, I HATED those teddy bear fabric softener commercials (and did I see they are back?), they made my skin crawl! I took a magazine ad page and put something on our bulletin board that reminded me of your No Love card, it made me smile!
I really like how you turned the smile upside down, perfect touch!

That card is hysterical and yes, I'm one of the non-sock monkey lovers! My mother used to make them and I never cared for the stuffed version so certainly didn't like the stamp set when it came out. The world would be so boring if we all liked the same things! Thanks for bringing a laugh to the gallery. :-)

I definitely was in the "no monkey" category when it came out, but I continue to love what people are doing with it! It does take me back to childhood AND I predict a surge in sock monkey sales because of this stamp. I have to admit that I bought the set after I got back from convention--not for me, but I think I'll have customers who will love it

Hahahaha!! This is too funny! I love what you did with this set! I think it's a riot... especially with his sad face! I love real sock monkeys.... but the set doesn't hit any buttons for me...but that's what makes so many different styles all work for someone... everyone's got different tastes!

Very funny, Dawn.....I have this horrible feeling that this one is going to end up in my mailbox! I had to read all of the comments....I think that the "not loving the sock monkey" people have the majority here!

Very cute idea for your friend...I myself, love sock monkeys...in fact, I love all monkeys! Even married one...just kidding...
But, your card is great and all the colors work well with the little guy.
