This is my "going away card" for a co-worker who is leaving for a new job. I love this Embrace Life set, and the sentiment I put inside "Go Confidently in the directions of your dreams, by Thoreau seemed to fit. The flowers are embossed in gold on velum and colored with Ruby Red and a blender pen, then dry embossed for demension, they also have a little gold crystal in the center. The Ruby Red layer of CS is stamped with Linen using Ruby Red and then the leaves stamp gold embossed. The base layer is Blush Blossom dry embossed with Fiskars "Blossoms" texture plate, rubbed with versa mark and then Rose Romance pastles, doesn't show to much in the photo. The Ribbon (from Mike's) slide is a Cuttle bug diecut using gold CS with several layers of clear embossing power heat embossed.

Rats. I had talked myself out of needing this stamp set and now you've blown that theory out of the water! Beautiful job on a lovely card. The colors are perfect for lifting me out of a mid winter blah!

Karen, this turned out just perfect. I love all of the gold, your dry embossing of the blossoms is perfect, love the color combination, and to top it all off, it looks very springy!

Oh yes! Daylight becomes it! The dry embossed vellum blooms turned out gorgeous, and I'm sure much more so IRL. Love the circle-in-a-square format and all the gold embossing. A real stunner! ALL your co-workers will be dazzled! TFS. Linda
