Yesterday I had a play with Distress inks and the foxy oxi technique. I think, a while ago, it was featured in the WT; I didn't have any, I bought some afterwards but it's been sitting unopened all this time.
I used some heavier white paper, ink blended with Distress, spritzed with water and sprinkled on some oxy. Let it dry, lots of cool patterns and splotches.
When I saw today's sketch, I knew it would work for my tag. The background is some random acrylic paint thing, maybe a brayer off, I dry embossed it and put some Lunar Paste on it.
This is also for yesterday's tea party for Orion, a baseball loving Dad who is being treated for cancer. I have enough stars, don't you think?
Thanks for a super sketch and the challenge for Orion.

Awesome in every way starting with that cool bg that you sloughed off as "some random acrylic paint thing". I wish I had some random stuff like that to play with. Your tag is gorgeous and I love the stars punched through. Finished off with gold -- doesn't get much better than that. Great card.
